After serving more than seven years in prison before his release in January 2021, former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is determined not to let his past mistakes define him. Along with his wife Laticia, whom he credits for being his rock through hard times, they have started a new ministry and other ventures to inspire others.
